We created this site to help researchers of our heritage learn of the lives and struggles of their progenitors. We gain brief glimpses in to the lives of our family members and appreciate immensely the legacy they have left in this life. This is also a place of ongoing collaboration, where we can share stories and provide feedback. Refer to our Rawlins History and Genealogy site for insights on how these stories and histories relate to family groups.
In one sense, the answer is "yes." There is the risk of redundancy here, when you examine the other TNG genealogy site. However, you need to know these are seperate projects. The purpose of the rawlins.org web site upgrade is to use the latest Web 2.0 tools for the searching and collaboration of content. This is especially helpful when trying to research.
The following project tasks need to be addressed to implement the upgrade.
This new site is configured using Drupal - an open source content management platform.
The end goal is to upgrade rawlins.org so that we can take advantage of some of the latest features and benefits of Web 2.0 technology.

Franklin Archable Rawlins, fifth child of Harvey McGalyard and Margaret Elzirah Frost, was born 22 Jan, 1857, at Draper, Salt Lake Co., Utah. He spent the first eight years of his life in Draper, possibly starting school there.
